KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : |
EWP/CWP PLANNING SUPPORT
? Supports Construction Preparation planning liaising with the CWP preparation Manager:
o Typical schedules for standard CWPs,
o Typical schedules of long lead CWPs requiring non-standard tooling, mock-ups/trials/qualifications for special process (out of IO/DA Tooling supply),
? Responsible for maintaining in liaison CWP Preparation Manager and IO the EWP need dates planning:
o review of Engineering Work Packs (EWP) to evaluate the scope and interfaces
o identify the potential for combining one or more CWP’s into EWP’s,
o defining the boundaries of CWP’s and supporting the preparation of CWP’s from schedule perspective,
o liaison with client engineering team to manage timely engineering delivery dates that meet CWP preparation and construction schedules
o responsible for identifying any critical / special resource material, equipment, potential for mock-ups and assembly trials required to deliver the programme and liaising with work supervision and logistics teams
WORKFACE AND CO-ACTIVITY PLANNING
? Coordinating with Lifting and Materials teams, Coordination teams and ensuring that critical key equipment movement across the work site does not impact the progress on site
? To work with Field Engineering Liaison and support coordination between the work pack preparation, project services department and construction supervision to anticipate interfaces and co-activity issues
? Ensure identification of workpack delivery risks, and risks to construction planning is suitably reported to line management
IWP PLANNING REVIEW
? To ensure that safety, quality and efficiency at the workface are considered in the planning process.
? Liaison with Works Contractors to understand planning considerations, and to ensure co-activity is planned, including optimisation of IWP schedules
? Interface with Project Services team to develop overall construction planning and coordinating with Project Services team Schedulers to verify construction readiness and prepare and optimise short term look-ahead plans

Basic Background (diploma required + additional training needed) :
Relevant generalist (multi-disciplines based) or Project Management related degree or equivalent.
